LocationIndian Creek Apartments and Townhomes – Cincinnati, OH
Scheduled hoursMonday‑Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Competitive pay$30–$32 per hour (based on experience and qualifications), plus incentives, bonuses, and a $1,000 hiring bonus.
Make an ImpactWe’re looking for a dedicated grounds professional to take ownership of a beautiful, award‑winning 42‑acre community of townhomes and apartments. You’ll lead a fun, hardworking crew and help maintain the property’s mature trees, landscaped features, and overall curb appeal.
As a Grounds Supervisor, You Will- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the grounds crew
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
- Train staff and enforce safety procedures
- Lead landscaping projects and manage materials and equipment
- Manage budgets, inventory, supply orders, bids, and contracted grounds‑maintenance services
- Assist with hands‑on grounds maintenance when needed
- Respond promptly to emergencies and be on call with your staff for snow emergencies
- Ensure all equipment is safely maintained and preventive maintenance is completed
- Keep accurate maintenance and equipment records
- Support higher‑level supervisors with reports, planning, and departmental tasks
- Minimum 2+ years of grounds experience, with prior grounds, landscaping, or maintenance experience required
- Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (email, online systems, electronic records, and maintenance tracking tools)
- Strong knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A valid driver’s license, reliable truck or van, and auto insurance
- Willingness to complete a background and drug screening if offered the role
