Sport horse Veterinary Solutions (SHVS) is a high-level, mobile equine practice delivering specialized sports medicine, lameness diagnostics, and dentistry to performance horses across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Our work is 100% focused on sports medicine and dentistry, with additional supportive therapies including shockwave, high-intensity laser therapy and acupuncture.

We are currently a 2-doctor practice looking to welcome a third veterinarian with sports medicine and rehabilitation experience to meet growing demand.

Title: Associate Equine Veterinarian – Sports Medicine
Type: Part-Time or Full-time options.
Location: Based in the Twin Cities metro with travel throughout MN & WI

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in equine sports medicine, excellent client communication and enjoy collaborative care with in-house and outside veterinarians.

• Completion of a 1-year equine internship
• Bonus but not necessary would be a fellowship or associate experience focused on lameness and imaging
• Diagnostic and ultrasound skills
• Communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to get Veterinary licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin

Founded in 2016 by Dr. Jaime Horner, SHVS combines high-level performance medicine experience with personalized client service. Dr. Horner’s background includes working alongside Olympic team veterinarians in Wellington, FL and across international FEI competitions. She brings this elite experience back to the Midwest, now partnering with Dr. Erin Gatz, who expands the practice with dentistry and acupuncture services.
