Harrison Pavilion is seeking an experienced Weekend Day Shift RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight during 8-hour weekend day shifts. The RN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the nursing team and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Position Overview – Weekend Day Shift RN Supervisor
The Weekend Day Shift RN Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the nursing team, ensuring that all resident care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with facility policies and state and federal standards. This role focuses on leadership, team coordination, and quality outcomes for residents.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff in providing daily care, assessments, and documentation.
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families.
Ensure proper charting, medication administration procedures, and compliance.
Provide leadership and problem-solving support for any clinical or staffing issues.
Promote teamwork, professionalism, and resident satisfaction across the day shift.
Qualifications
Current, active Ohio RN license.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum one year of RN experience, long-term care preferred.
Skills and Qualities
Strong communication, delegation, and leadership skills.
Sound clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to manage priorities and maintain calm under pressure.
