ScheduleThree week rotation:
Thurs/Fri/Sat;
Sun/Thurs/Fri;
Wed/Thurs/Fri 3p-3:30a.
- Escalate issues to Clinical Manager
- Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
- Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
- Prioritize and organize workflows for shift
- Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, including but not limited to:
- Manage early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
- Assign team member responsibilities per shift
- Address process or employee issues during shift
- Communicate schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
- Serve as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
- Train and mentor new team members
- Provide input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
- Participate in on‑call responsibilities
- Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely
- Strong communication skills
- Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
