Schedule

Three week rotation:
Thurs/Fri/Sat;
Sun/Thurs/Fri;
Wed/Thurs/Fri 3p-3:30a.

What you’ll do:
  • Escalate issues to Clinical Manager
  • Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
  • Prioritize and organize workflows for shift
  • Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, including but not limited to:
    • Manage early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
    • Assign team member responsibilities per shift
    • Address process or employee issues during shift
    • Communicate schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
    • Serve as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
    • Train and mentor new team members
    • Provide input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
    • Participate in on‑call responsibilities
    • Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely
Who you are:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
