Role
Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre‑op and PACU patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. Position may cross‑train to Endoscopy Procedures.
Hours:
Full Time;
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (hours may vary based on center needs).
What You’ll do:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings
Provide accurate and thorough patient assessments
Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery
Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients
Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols
Support patient education and post‑op instructions
What You’ll bring:
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Current RN license (unencumbered)
Current BLS (ACLS required within 90 days)
Endoscopy Specialty experience
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity
Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas
Exposure to blood borne pathogens, and chemical hazards consistent with the surgical setting
