Join The Christ Hospital Health Network as a Registered Nurse in the main Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Cincinnati. You will work in a high‑acuity, fast‑paced environment with a team focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs using the Christ Hospital Professional Practice Model.
• Create personalized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and goals.
• Provide evidence‑based interventions, educating patients and families and executing well‑planned interventions.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care based on evidence‑based practices.
• Collaborate with your Clinical Manager to drive improvement and achieve better outcomes through performance improvement initiatives.
• Act as an advocate for High Reliability principles, motivating, educating, delegating, and mentoring peers and team members while managing patient care effectively.

• Accurate and concise documentation of the nursing process in the electronic medical record, ensuring timely documentation of care, updates, and education.
• Adherence to all organizational and departmental policies, completion of required training, and meeting all educational requirements.

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire in step‑down and ICU areas.
• Unit‑specific certifications may be required.

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a 28‑bed unit serving general surgery, GU, spine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, kidney transplants, and a 10‑bed unit serving the women's center (GYN procedures). Staff care for a variety of post‑surgical patients in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment which requires ICU skills, time management, and flexibility with hours worked to meet patient needs.
