Outreach Coordinator - Washington United Church of Christ

Washington United Church of Christ (Washington UCC) is located in the Zip Code of Cincinnati with the highest poverty rate. We are targeting this population by providing food, clothing, tutoring during the school year and a summer program for children, help for families at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and guidance to social service resources for longer-term assistance.

As Washington UCC's VISTA member, you will play a critical role in building systems to expand our organization’s capacity and operations. You will rally the community in support of our mission by recruiting, training, and nurturing volunteers for our various programs, including community lunch, tutoring, student summer programming, the Camp Cupboard free store, and holiday events. You will also implement systems for communication, social media, and outreach that we will continue to use with volunteers moving forward.

You will seek grants and financial contributions from individuals, businesses, and other church donors to fund outreach program expenses. Finally, you will create lasting development impact by establishing systems for grant searching and tracking, alongside a shared donor system. Join our team today to leave your mark!
