The Individual Giving & Grants Manager supports the execution of our annual giving strategy and manages a portfolio of small grants. This role focuses on growing individual donor revenue, strengthening retention, and building a reliable pipeline of foundation support under $10,000. This is a hands‑on revenue role for a highly organized, detail‑driven professional who can manage deadlines, write clearly and persuasively, and translate impact into compelling donor communication.

• Execute annual individual giving strategy in partnership with the Senior Director of Advancement.
• Manage and implement multi‑channel appeals (email, direct mail, digital).
• Oversee donor segmentation and targeted communications.
• Track performance of appeals and recommend improvements based on results.
• Manage and grow a monthly giving program through acquisition, retention, and engagement efforts.
• Monitor revenue goals and provide regular reporting on progress.

• Support consistent, mission‑aligned donor communications throughout the year.
• Coordinate timely acknowledgment and stewardship touchpoints.
• Partner with communications and program teams to translate impact into donor‑facing messaging.

• Maintain a pipeline and calendar of small foundation and corporate grant opportunities.
• Write and submit grant proposals and required reports for awards under $10,000.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Support data gathering for larger grant proposals led by contracted writers or senior staff.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with direct experience in annual giving and/or grant writing.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising analytics tools.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

• Salary: $55,000 – $60,000, commensurate with experience.
