Production Supervisor

We’re seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor for our defense industry client, to lead daily operations in multiple production areas, including welding, fabrication, assembly, and paint. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manufacturing leader to drive operational excellence, foster teamwork, and ensure a strong culture of safety and quality.

Supervise, coach, and develop a team of production employees across multiple departments.

Ensure production goals are met for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing PPE use, leading safety talks, and driving proactive safety practices.

Monitor product quality, identify non-conformances, and lead corrective actions.

Participate in scheduling, labor planning, performance management, hiring, and training.

Lead 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Track and analyze production KPIs, and support root cause investigations for downtime or rework.

Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding high standards.

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (background in welding, fabrication, or assembly preferred).

Proven ability to supervise hourly or skilled trade employees.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and standard work practices.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Vantage Clear or equivalent security clearance required.
