Sanitation Program Manager

Overview

As the Sanitation Program Manager at Kellanova’s Cincinnati, OH facility you will drive the daily core sanitation activities while leading a team of salaried and hourly individuals. Our sanitation team are big believers in proactive leadership; we plan sanitation processes and actively communicate to execute them in order to achieve the highest level of sanitation possible.

• People Management – Lead a team of salaried/hourly associates with responsibilities around sanitation in a 24/7 operation, using leadership and influential skills to develop, inspire, and energize your team toward high performance and self-accountability.
• Analytical Yet Experienced – Evaluate facility sanitary conditions, assess risk based on food safety and public health principles, prioritize corrective actions, and verify sanitation activities and validation testing.
• Overall Direction – Set the overall direction of plant sanitation programs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Setting the Budget – Manage the sanitation budget and contracted programs within your responsibilities.

• High School Diploma and extensive experience in plant quality/food safety/sanitation.
• Frequently demonstrated experience in sanitation and food safety.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous people management experience and union experience is a plus.
• SAP experience and Kleanz software knowledge preferred.
• HACCP, PCQI and/or SQF certifications a plus.
• Pest Control certification(s) and monitoring experience a plus.

The annual salary range is $100,500 - $131,880, based on location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
