The Forklift Operator supports production by moving, collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products, raw materials, and finished goods. This person operates technical equipment, optimizes loading for efficient logistics, and supports other warehouse functions to ensure smooth operations.

• Safely loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse and production items using forklift trucks and other material-handling equipment
• Conduct daily equipment inspections
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility
• Optimize load configuration to ensure operational efficiency
• Prepare and secure loads for dry van or flatbed by picking and wrapping orders for shipment
• Manage inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment or tablets
• Identify workplace safety hazards
• Adhere to production schedules using ERP system
• Accurately enter appropriate data into Epicor ERP system (part quantities, job numbers, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organized area, including proper storage and disposal of materials, and maintain 5S standards
• Communicate any potential disruptions to on-time delivery
• Work overtime as needed to meet the schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Leader

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of forklift operation strongly preferred
• Forklift certification strongly preferred
• Experience on sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, and Combi forklifts preferred
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow safety protocols
