Perform all duties following company safety procedures and guidelines with focus on zero injuries.

• Utilize, store away and measure all chemicals while utilizing the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures (LOTO).
• Must be able to assess areas after cleaning to ensure sanitation is complete.
• Must be able to partake in and complete the chemical training program.
• Must be able to assess reoccurring sanitation issues, and present actions to mitigate issues.
• Transport equipment to the wash room. Operate tunnel and rack washers.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Work as a member of a team.
• Associate needs to be a Self-starter, gets involved quickly, takes on difficult tasks and takes initiative to achieve goals beyond what is required.
• Maintains high activity/productivity level. Operates with sense of urgency, efficiency, effectiveness and determination over extended periods of time and under hot, cold, indoor and outdoor environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders, when required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Utilize battery operated floor scrubbers.
• Be able to work in wet conditions.
• Adhere to all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).
• Ability to work with limited supervision is required, must be a decision maker.
• Clean pots/pans, trays, utensils, and dishes and replace in the correct designated areas.
• Clean bathrooms, breakroom, walls, tables, equipment, sinks, racks, windows, remove trash, and perform other basic maintenance duties as needed.
• Restock paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, soap, as needed in restroom and production sink areas.
• Maintain, clean, sweep and clean floors including but not limited to walk-in coolers & freezer, storage areas, and dock areas as needed.
• Help receive and put away vendor deliveries.
• Alert supervisor on duty of any low cleaning product or cleaning supplies.
• Proven ability to work independently while performing a variety of sanitation and utility task.

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Candidate must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
• Previous experience in a Bakery or Food Manufacturing (Preferred) but not required.
• Ability to handle constant physical workload.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Be on time and willing to perform some overtime when necessary.
• Must have dependable transportation to get from and to the job.
