Job Details

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Hours are from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

Pay is $21.50 per hour.

To set up and operate efficiently, all product forming and cooking equipment on the lines which they have received training while following all company policy and procedures.

The Machine Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of cooking equipment.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Assemble and dismantle all equipment.
• Monitor and ensure product quality, making adjustments when necessary to maintain product specifications.
• Perform the necessary wash down procedures when needed.
• Inspect the equipment prior to set up for cleanliness and possible mechanical deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot machinery and keep supervisor and maintenance informed of any machinery that needs to be repaired.
• Complete all QA checks and documentation accurately, including completion of paperwork.
• Read and interpret work instructions and adhere to all GMP standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and submit proper paperwork including downtime sheets, weight sheets, raw material usage sheets, product loss forms, updated specification sheets, and HACCP documentation.
• Use basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) for certain paperwork.
• Learn and follow all safety procedures related to the set up and operation of the equipment, including the lock-out/ tag-out procedure.
• Assure that batch, resource, and product change overs are segregated and marked.
• Report all possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety.
• Be willing and able to lift up to 80 lbs when required.
• Be willing and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures ranging from 39°F to 90°F.

• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
