Able Tool Corporation is currently looking to hire skilled, experienced second shift foreman and machinists for our vertical milling department. * 2nd Shift Position - Blue Ash Location – Plant is Climate Controlled

* Required Skills:

* * Produce precision machined parts by programming, setting up, and performing your own fixture, vise and tool set ups while operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

* Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

* Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards.

* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

* Maintains quality procedures.

* Keeps accurate records.

* Desired

Skills:

* * 3 years of experience as a skilled machinist.

* Excellent verbal communication skills

* Independent and yet a Team player

* CNC Machinist

Job Duties:

* * Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

* Programs mills and/or lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.

* Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards.

* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

* Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

* Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

* Familiarity with Master

CAM or other CAM software.

* Familiarity with Fanuc CNC controls.
