Overview
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Manage and improve preventive maintenance programs and autonomous maintenance initiatives.
- Analyze downtime and defects to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts.
- Utilize CMMS software to plan maintenance activities, manage spare parts inventory, and track performance metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in maintenance or reliability engineering roles.
- Previous supervisory experience in a highly regulated industry such as food, pharma, or similar sectors.
- Hands-on leadership style with at least 75% of time spent on the plant floor.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and predictive maintenance systems.
