CNC Mill Machinist*
25-28/hr! 2nd shift. (will train on 1st shift)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join our team for both first and second shifts. Initially, you will train on the first shift for approximately 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in setting up and operating milling machines, specifically the TC-30 with Fagor controls. Experience with Milacron or Fagor controls and the ability to edit machine programming is required.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate various CNC machines, including both mill and lathe machines.
- Operate in a job shop environment, handling large CNC machines rather than production-focused setups.
- Perform machine setups and tooling changes every shift with run times varying up to 6-8 hours.
- Read blueprints and utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Work with tolerances of +/- 0.001.
- Work with G&M codes and edit programs directly at the machine using Master
CAM and Solidworks. - Utilize manual machines and grinders as necessary.
- Work with Fanuc and Fagor controls.
- 6-8 years of CNC Machining experience.
- Experience in machine setup and tooling changes.
- Capability to edit programs using G&M codes.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Experience in a job shop environment rather than production machining.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with holding tolerances of +/- 0.001.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Master
CAM or Solidworks.- Experience operating both mill and lathe machines.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
