Material Handler II – The Hillman Group
Schedule Monday through Friday - 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Pay $18.50 per hour
Job Summary Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Operates a variety of powered industrial equipment
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Use a hand scanner
- Pick-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
- Unload and put away stock in the Bulk storage area
- Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
- Pull and stock correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
- Transfer finished products to designated areas
- Stack empty skids and pallets in designated areas
- Operate a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
- Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; report other problems to manager

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Competencies – Knowledge,
Skills And Abilities
- Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
- Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
Operational Equipment
- Hand‑held RF scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack, Powered Industrial Equipment
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Material Handler must be forklift operation certified. Stand on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
- Physical demands:
Medium-Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
