We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe & Horizontal Boring Mill Operator for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift for a duration of 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in the setup and operation of milling machines, specifically the TC-30 with Fagor controls. Experience with Milacron or Fagor controls is preferred, along with the ability to edit machine programming.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate various CNC machines.
- Operate both mill and lathe machines in a job shop environment.
- Perform machine setups and tooling changes each shift.
- Read blueprints and utilize measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Work with tolerances of +/- 0.001.
- Edit programs using G&M codes and operate Master
CAM and Solidworks. - Utilize manual machines and grinders as needed.
- Work with Fanuc and Fagor controls.
- 6-8 years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience setting up machines and performing tooling changes.
- Proficiency in editing programs with G&M codes.
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Experience in a job shop environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Experience holding tolerances of +/- 0.001.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Master
CAM or Solidworks. - Experience operating both mill and lathe machines.

Work EnvironmentThe position is located in a machine shop job shop that is not climate-controlled. The work involves operating large CNC machines in a non-production environment, where run times can extend to several days for a single part.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
