Laser Material Loader & Part Handler

Summary

This position supports laser operations by loading sheet metal onto laser machines and organizing finished parts after cutting. It involves clear communication with laser operators and the handling, labeling, and sorting of parts for downstream processes.

• Load prepared material onto laser machines per operator instruction.
• Communicate with laser operators to confirm material readiness and requirements.
• Unload finished laser‑cut parts and apply identification labels.
• Sort and organize cut parts for delivery to appropriate shop areas (e.g., brake press, shipping, or secondary operations).
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laser work area.

• Basic understanding of shop workflow and material handling practices.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle sheet metal safely.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Do you have experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment?
• Can you safely lift and move parts and objects (up to 50 lbs)?
• Have you worked with or around laser cutting machines?
• Are you comfortable labeling and organizing parts for downstream production steps?
• Do you have experience using part tags, stickers, or other labeling systems in a shop setting?
• Are you authorized to work in the United States?
