Using your experience, set up and prove out programs on 4 or 5 axis CNC milling machines and machining centers to machine complex parts from various metals and composites to meet the tight tolerances required in the aerospace and defense industries.
Shift- 1st Shift: 5:30am - 4pm (Monday - Friday)
- 2nd Shift (variety of full and part time schedules for 2nd shift employees):
- 5 - 10 hour shifts (Monday - Friday)
- 4 - 10 hour shifts (Monday - Friday)
- 4 - 12 hour shifts (Monday - Friday)
- Work from routed instructions, manufacturing process plans, blue prints and verbal instructions under moderate supervision.
- Plan and make set-ups using needed tools for the CNC program per the set-up sheet.
- Use a variety of hand held measuring instruments.
- May write programs at the machine.
- Download and upload programs at the machine.
- Completes accompanying routers as operations are successfully finished before moving.
- High school career machine trades program is preferred.
- G&M coding experience.
- Ability to read blue prints and working knowledge of GD&T.
- Mechanical and spatial aptitude.
- Must have own tools.
