Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Operations: Coordinate and monitor daily workflow in cold storage or temperature-controlled processing areas.
• Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and support production staff; ensure adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Quality Control: Maintain product quality standards; oversee inspections, HACCP protocols, and corrective actions.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce food safety, occupational safety, and sanitation standards (e.g., OSHA, GMP, FDA/USDA depending on facility type).
• Equipment Management: Ensure machinery operates efficiently; report issues and coordinate maintenance.
• Inventory & Documentation: Track materials, monitor waste, complete production logs, and maintain accurate records.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement changes to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and optimize labor.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with logistics, warehousing, QA, and management teams to meet production targets.

• Experience in refrigerated/frozen food production or cold storage operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and facility safety requirements.
• Ability to work in low-temperature environments.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
