Why This Role MattersThis is a chance to own month‑end close, guide AP/AR operations, oversee the general ledger, ensure accurate reconciliations, and deliver clean, reliable financial statements that help drive decision‑making. As our Accounting Manager, you'll work directly with our CFO‑supporting reporting, forecasting, and strengthening the financial insights that power our business.
What You’ll Do- Fully own and lead the month‑end close from start to finish
- Supervise AP/AR clerk(s) and ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain and refine the general ledger
- Ensure reconciliations are accurate, timely, and complete
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Partner with the CFO on forecasting, reporting, and financial planning
This is a full‑time Accounting Manager role, Monday through Friday, with a consistent schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM.
YOU MIGHT BE A MATCH IF YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of accounting experience (public or private)
- Full month‑end close experience
- General ledger and reconciliation experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Job costing knowledge
- GAAP familiarity
- Proficiency with accrual accounting and revenue recognition fundamentals
- Industry experience in service, construction, or trades
- Supervisory experience (managing 1‑3 people)
- Experience training junior staff
- Work‑in‑progress (WIP) accounting experience
- Field payroll familiarity
- Job costing and labor burden allocation knowledge
- A process improvement mindset
