Position OverviewThe Manager Director leads the stadium management company (Stadium Manager) PBSL which manages stadium operations for Paycor Stadium. The Stadium Manager is responsible for the management, operations, maintenance and repair of Paycor Stadium, ensuring a safe, efficient, and exceptional experience for fans, guests, players, staff, and partners. This role oversees event preparation, facility upkeep, vendor management, and compliance with league, state, and local regulations.
The Stadium Manager leads cross‑functional teams to deliver outstanding game‑day operations and to support a variety of non‑NFL events hosted at the facility.
- Oversee day‑to‑day stadium operations, ensuring the facility is clean, secure, and functioning at peak performance.
- Oversight of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, turf, and life safety systems.
- Ensures regular inspections are conducted and coordinates repairs, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain compliance with all NFL facility requirements and league‑mandated standards.
- Establish and build relationships with Hamilton County and navigate public procurement through public bid processes.
- Focus on Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure stadium operations align with OSHA, ADA, environmental, and public safety standards.
- Implement emergency preparedness plans and oversee annual safety drills and inspections.
- Maintain certifications, documentation, and regulatory compliance records.
- Lead stadium preparation and operations for all NFL home games, including field readiness, player facilities, locker rooms, and broadcast infrastructure.
- Coordination with NFL League Operations for gameday audits, reports and requirements.
- Oversee logistics for concerts, corporate events, community events, and other venue bookings.
- Develop and implement operational plans, staffing, crowd control, security, and emergency response procedures.
- Responsible for post event reporting, incident review and continuous improvement.
- Manage the full‑time team consisting of security, grounds crew, building engineers, maintenance & administration.
- Contract enforcement and performance measurement of vendors and event‑day staff for cleaning, security, engineering, waste management, and more.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Security, Operations, Marketing, Guest Experience, Ticketing) and external partners (law enforcement, fire, EMS, vendors).
- Foster a positive, performance‑driven culture with a focus on service excellence and the gameday experience.
- Develop and manage the stadium operations budget.
- Create and maintain long‑term facility plan i.e. 10‑year plan.
- Work closely with Team and Director of Capital Projects on capital planning.
- Track expenses, approve invoices, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
- 7+ years of senior leadership in stadium, arena, or large‑scale facilities management.
- Strong leadership experience managing large teams and complex events.
- Knowledge of building systems, facility maintenance, and event operations logistics.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and crisis‑management skills.
- Experience in NFL or major league sports operations.
