Quality & Compliance Manager
Position at EMCOR Facilities Services – full time, mid-senior level. Occasional air travel required.
Job SummaryAssumes overall responsibility for the quality and compliance management of the client account portfolio. Works collaboratively with EMCOR departments, account teams, and suppliers to ensure work orders are managed within established KPIs and to maintain compliance with Service Provider Social Compliance Standards (SSCS) and local laws. Oversees audits by third parties, customers, and internal auditors, ensuring they meet all audit requirements.
Develops strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facilities, plans and executes audits, routine maintenance, and improvement projects. Partners with the client team to manage properties, budget, and customer experience while implementing quality control processes and standards.
- Work with subcontracted vendors to provide the client with the best service and cost.
- Develop an auditing process and establish quarterly business review (Q ) schedules with the Procurement Specialist for key vendors.
- Build and nurture the EMCOR culture and foster strong vendor relationships.
- Assist the Finance Manager and Regional Managers with monthly billing statements, expense forms, purchase orders, capital forecasting, and budget management.
- Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement & Reliability team to devise efficient processes and procedures for site personnel.
- Serve as a key contributor in training, developing, and maintaining the CMMS system.
- Utilize Six Sigma training to enhance processes and procedures.
- Own the centralized Fire Extinguisher/system software, ensuring proper utilization and training across all sites.
- Investigate, develop, and implement projects or activities that reduce or contain costs while increasing quality levels.
- Foster a positive work environment for associates, managing performance reviews and development.
- Maintain constructive customer relationships and promote open dialogue.
- Advocate environmental health and safety by adhering to best practices and making recommendations.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum 21 years old. - Experience:
7–10 years in Facilities Management. - Licenses/Certifications:
OSHA 10‑hour and/or 30‑hour card; BOMA, IFMA, LEED certifications a plus. - Language
Skills:
Able to read, comprehend, and document instructions; write routine reports; present information both individually and in small groups. - Technical
Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel; experience with Enterprise Software and CMMS.
