The Senior Vice President of Accounting will oversee the accounting operations of The Connor Group, ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy in reporting, and excellence in financial management. Responsibilities include developing financial strategies, managing accounting processes, overseeing audits, and providing financial insights to support strategic business decisions. This full-time opportunity is an on-site role located in Cincinnati, OH. The Senior Vice President will lead a high-performing team, fostering excellence and collaboration within the organization.
Qualifications- Strong financial management and accounting skills, including extensive experience with GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and audits.
- Strategic planning and leadership abilities, with expertise in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Proficiency in team leadership, coaching, and collaboration, fostering a results-driven and inclusive work culture.
- Exceptional skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making related to financial operations and budgeting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership or executive accounting role, preferably in real estate investment or a related sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence, and collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
