Housekeeper - Community

Overview

Fath Properties, designated a Top Workplace, is looking for candidates to work as a Housekeeper at our property, Aspen Village Apartments. The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness in common areas and grounds, and thoroughly cleans turnover apartments for new residents according to Fath standards.

• Cleans common areas at the property including 36 hallways, laundry rooms, stairwells, clubhouse, office, entryways and public restrooms. Vacuums carpeted areas. Dusts completely and empties ashtrays.
• Responsible for cleaning show apartments and turnovers. Mops floors, thoroughly cleans and deodorizes kitchens (stoves, cabinets, floors, refrigerators), bathrooms (tubs, sinks, medicine cabinets, toilets), wipes and washes light fixtures, and washes window tracks and windows of vacant apartment units to Fath standards for occupancy.
• Moves refrigerators and stoves in order to sweep and mop for apartment turnovers.
• Performs thorough clean‑up upon completion of work.
• Completes assigned paperwork such as timesheets, work orders and sign‑in sheets in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains a neat, professional appearance and projects a professional demeanor.
• Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and senior management as required.
• Bilingual – Spanish + English.

• Monthly phone allowance: $30.
• Monthly mileage reimbursement.

• Education:
  
  Ability to read instructions and labels.
• Experience:
  
  Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual:
  Spanish and English.
• Contacts:
  Must be able to communicate with residents, subcontractors, vendors and Fath staff, and convey problem resolution to residents.
• Physical Requirement:
  Able to lift 50 lbs, move refrigerators and stoves, remove A/C units, climb stairs and ladders, bend, twist, walk, climb, and carry a 35 lb vacuum. Must be able to operate door locks.
• Reliable transportation – driver’s license required.
• Compensation: $16–$18 hourly wage.
