Janitorial Cleaner

Job Summary

We’re looking to hire a hard-working cleaner who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing/disinfecting restrooms, and in addition to maintenance tasks such as emptying trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

• Various locations:
  Monday - Friday/ 3 - 4 hours between 9:00A - 1:00P and/or 5:00P - 9:00P - pay $1100 monthly - MUST have a vehicle
• Downtown police department:
  Monday - Friday/ 3 hours between 8:00A - 1:00P - pay: $1000 monthly
• Lincoln Heights police department:
  Monday - Friday/ 2 hours between 8:00A - 1:00P - pay: $500 monthly
• Downtown police department:
  Monday - Friday/ 2 hours between 8:00A - 1:00P - pay: $500 monthly
• Hartwell location:
  Monday - Friday/ 5:00P - 8:00P and Sunday, 4 hours - pay: $1100 monthly
• Clifton location:
  Monday - Friday/ 4 hours 5:00P - 9:00P: $1320 monthly

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows and supply restrooms
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Turn in checklist of areas cleaned and notify the manager of any problems and when complete

• Pass a background check; misdemeanors accepted in some sites
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• Able to take feedback from managers
• No call offs for 90 days
