Junior Data Engineer

We’re hiring two Junior Data Engineers to join an Insights squad focused on modernizing and transforming a core House holding (HH) data ecosystem. This team is driving a multi‑year effort to retire legacy systems and deliver a modern, scalable, hybrid data product that supports evolving consumer needs. House holding is a foundational enterprise capability—critical for understanding customer relationships, improving segmentation, and accurately measuring growth.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll gain high visibility and play a key part in delivering the next‑generation HH architecture.

• Run monthly House holding data product refreshes end‑to‑end using established playbooks and tooling
• Build a strong understanding of the HH data domain, business rules, and platform architecture
• Support pipeline modernization efforts and contribute to remediation activities (e.g., orphaned customer accounts)
• Apply SQL skills to validate, transform, and reconcile source‑to‑target data
• Gain hands‑on experience with Snowflake and dbt during refresh cycles and ongoing enhancements
• Gradually take on more complex data engineering tasks as you ramp up

• Strong SQL abilities, including comfort with complex queries
• Basic understanding of relational database concepts
• Experience cleaning, transforming, validating, and analyzing data

• Exposure to Snowflake
• Familiarity with dbt (data build tool)
• Experience with Python
• Basic understanding of data science workflows or concepts
