As an Application Support Specialist, you’ll ensure the stability, reliability, and usability of TQL’s critical business applications. You’ll act as a bridge between users, infrastructure, and development teams, resolving issues, supporting daily operations, and maintaining strong system knowledge across multiple business units. In this role, you’ll take ownership of operational excellence by troubleshooting issues, identifying bugs, recommending improvements, and sharing knowledge to support a collaborative, high‑performing IT team.
What we’re looking for:- You have an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a software development emphasis preferred
- You have 2+ years of technical application support experience or equivalent education or training
- You are familiar with Microsoft tools and technologies including Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and Microsoft SQL Server
- You provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with users, peers, and leadership
- You are highly organized and able to manage multiple tickets and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing systems is a plus
- Manage day‑to‑day operational activities through the ticketing system by logging, triaging, prioritizing, and resolving incidents, problems, and requests
- Provide clear communication, timely updates, and effective expectation management to internal users
- Investigate application issues using code review and SQL‑based analysis to determine root causes
- Perform controlled data updates when needed to support issue resolution
- Own assigned applications by ensuring stability, reliability, and alignment with business needs
- Support defect resolution, approved changes, and minor enhancements
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders on larger initiatives while maintaining daily support responsibilities
- Support release activities including post‑deployment validation and ongoing optimization
- Collaborate with NOC and Development teams to troubleshoot incidents, escalated defects, and validate fixes
- Maintain and enhance documentation including runbooks, troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
