About MIS Solutions

MIS Solutions is a growing Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) supporting approximately 100 managed partners across a wide range of industries. We specialize in delivering reliable, secure, and scalable IT solutions while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and long‑term partnerships.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Implementation and Deployment Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in staging and implementing hardware with a white‑glove approach. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast‑paced MSP environment, managing multiple client systems, and solving complex technical challenges.

What You’ll Do

The IT Implementation & Deployment Technician is responsible for staging, configuring, and deploying client hardware and endpoints in alignment with managed service standards. This role supports multiple client environments and ensures consistent, secure, and scalable device implementations. The technician works closely with project managers, service desk team leaders, and Partner point of contacts (POC) to deliver seamless onboarding, refresh, and replacement deployments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Device Staging & Asset Management

  • Unbox and inspect new client hardware (desktops, laptops, firewalls, switches, access points, monitors, docks, peripherals, etc.).
  • Verify equipment against client purchase orders and project documentation.
  • Apply asset tags and document serial numbers.
  • Prepare devices according to each client’s standardized configuration checklist.

2. Client‑Specific Configuration

  • Deploy operating systems using imaging and automated provisioning tools.
  • Join devices to Active Directory, Azure AD, or hybrid environments.
  • Configure Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other SaaS platforms.
  • Install client‑approved applications, security agents, RMM tools, backup agents, and monitoring software.
  • Apply baseline security configurations following MSP and client compliance standards.
  • Configure VPN, MFA, email, printers, mapped drives, and network access.

3. Quality Control & Standardization

  • Follow MSP standard operating procedures (SOPs) for deployments.
  • Perform pre‑deployment checklists and system validation.

4. On‑Site & Remote Deployment

  • Deliver and install equipment at client locations.
  • Provide white‑glove onboarding support to end users.
  • Set up workstations neatly for end users, walking them through any new hardware.
  • Coordinate with end users or POC to minimize downtime.

5. Documentation & Communication

  • Update tickets and project tasks in PSA and documentation platforms.
  • Document client environment changes thoroughly.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and licensing documentation.
  • Escalate issues to team leaders when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding timelines and expectations.
