Equipment Finance Business Systems Analyst

Rate: $58.00 to $68.00/hr. w2

• Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment finance commercial leasing across originations, onboarding, servicing, and lifecycle management.
• Apply functional expertise across equipment finance platforms and vendor systems.
• Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external partners to deliver integration initiatives.
• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear system configuration and integration specifications.
• Develop use cases, process flows, data mappings, and functional specifications.
• Define UAT test scenarios, validate results, and ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Configure vendor-based equipment finance platforms, including rules, workflows, and parameters.
• Partner with vendor teams to troubleshoot configuration issues and optimize system utilization.
• Support system integrations and ensure seamless data flows across enterprise applications.
• Ensure adherence to system integration and configuration best practices.

• 5+ years supporting equipment finance commercial leasing across business and technology functions.
• Previous experience with lease and loan origination software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of system integrations, data mapping, and data flows.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance business priorities with technical constraints.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Exposure to commercial lending and/or leasing processes.
• Experience working with vendor applications hosted on-premises and/or in cloud environments.
• Proven experience supporting system integration initiatives within financial services or leasing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Previous experience within the equipment finance domain to support commercial leasing platforms.
• Rapport front-end finance leasing tool (preferred).
