Scrum Master, IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly – $60.00 USD Hourly
DescriptionAn experienced servant leader and coach enabling a high-performing, cross-functional Agile team operating across Security, Data, and Networking domains in support of large-scale cloud transformation initiatives. As a Scrum Master, this role guides and facilitates Scrum and/or Kanban teams within a fast-paced, enterprise program delivering complex, business-driven technology solutions. The Scrum Master ensures consistent application of Agile SDLC practices, removes impediments, drives continuous improvement, and fosters an environment that enables quality, predictable, and timely delivery.
Qualifications- Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Background in Agile roles such as QA, Development, Product Owner, or Agile Coach.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach teams toward higher maturity.
- Effective collaborator who can work across all organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to understand high-level technical concepts and advocate Agile practices across the organization.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to lead multiple Agile teams concurrently.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and skilled at problem-solving in complex environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Guide, coach, and motivate teams to increase productivity and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrate passion for Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, SAFe, LeSS, and Lean Startup.
- Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies and ensure high-quality execution.
- Manage scope, timelines, goals, quality, and deliverables aligned to business objectives.
- Remove team impediments or enable the team to resolve them independently.
- Build a safe, trusting environment that encourages open communication, constructive conflict, and effective problem solving.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Prepare and communicate progress reports and delivery metrics.
- Coordinate cross-team activities and collaborate across the program.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to support backlog health and prioritization.
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums and collaborate with other Scrum Masters.
- Coach teams to advance in Agile maturity at a sustainable pace.
- Lead planning and coordination activities such as release planning, PI planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to Agile SDLC practices, tools, standards, and working agreements.
- Promote Agile principles of collaboration, transparency, prioritization, and accountability.
- Track, analyze, and communicate team metrics to relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and solution-oriented team culture.
- Support teams in making realistic commitments and delivering against them.
- Enable self-organization and ownership within the team.
- Identify and mitigate risks, blockers, and distractions.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven inspect-and-adapt cycles.
