Rate: $45.00 to $50.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Serve as the subject matter expert on File Net usage for document storage, retrieval, and workflow automation.
- Analyze current-state document classes, metadata models, workflows, and security structures across organizations.
- Partner with stakeholders to map document types and metadata into the target File Net environment.
- Identify inefficiencies, manual touchpoints, redundancies, and compliance or risk concerns.
- Gather business requirements, regulatory obligations, and retention policies with line-of-business leaders.
- Facilitate decisions on document ownership, classification, and access rights.
- Define business rules for document disposition, consolidation, archival, and lifecycle management.
- Recommend migration strategies such as lift-and-shift, redesign, consolidation, or retirement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for File Net developers and administrators.
- Ensure workflows reflect business rules, exceptions, approval paths, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement or revise workflows, metadata structures, and security configurations.
- Validate that solutions meet business, legal, compliance, and audit expectations.
- Support migration by validating mappings, testing migrated content, and resolving issues with stakeholders.
- Determine which workflows migrate as-is, consolidate, or redesign.
- Document decisions, updated processes, and target-state designs.
- Assist with user training and change management for new structures, workflows, and access models.
- Analyze post-migration usage and feedback to identify improvements and optimization opportunities.
- Experience with ECM platforms such as File Net, CMOD, OnBase, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Experience supporting large-scale migrations, system integrations, or platform consolidations.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with File Net P8, workflow automation, metadata models, and document taxonomy (preferred).
- Background in banking, financial services, or compliance-driven environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with data governance, retention policies, or regulatory document management requirements (preferred).
- Experience with M&A-related system integrations or consolidations (preferred).
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
