Position Title: Power BI Developer – Full Time

Reports To: IT Delivery Manager, Projects & Data Solutions

Classification: Full‑Time, Exempt, Salaried

Location: On‑site Support Center, Blue Ash, Ohio

Range USA is seeking a Power BI Developer to join our Data Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to design, develop, and deliver complex reports and dashboards using Power BI, and will be able to manage the full lifecycle of report development, from requirements gathering through deployment and user adoption.

• Own the end‑to‑end report development process
• Collaborate with company and IT leadership to deliver complex reports and dashboards
• Build relationships with stakeholders to deeply understand their evolving needs
• Maintain and modify existing Power BI reports and datasets as business requirements evolve
• Optimize Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and refresh schedules for performance and accuracy
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of critical business reports
• Establish reusable components and templates for team efficiency
• Ensure Power BI workspace governance, security, and best practices are followed
• Participate in on‑call rotation for production report support

• Help establish Power BI governance and best practices
• Contribute to data model design decisions that impact multiple reports
• Participate in architecture reviews for long‑term scalability
• Lead user training sessions and adoption initiatives
• Familiarity with version control for Power BI development
• Provide comprehensive support documentation for each reporting asset delivered
• Provide input on tool selection and platform improvements

• 2+ years of Power BI development experience
• Power BI certification or advanced Power BI experience (Row Level Security at scale, Incremental Refresh, Composite Models)
• Proven track record of rapid report delivery from requirements to deployment
• Demonstrated expertise in Power BI development, including report creation, data modeling, and DAX, strong DAX skills with complex calculation experience
• Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management (MSSQL required)
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
• Experience with Power BI service administration and deployment pipelines
• Experience with data quality management and troubleshooting
• Self‑directed with minimal supervision needs
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Track record of meeting delivery deadlines
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction
