Senior Data Architect
Employment: Direct Hire
OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern data and AI platforms for enterprise clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting and advisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design enterprise data architectures including lakehouse, warehouse, streaming, and AI/ML patterns
- Define reference architectures, metadata strategies, and governance models
- Assess current-state data environments and design future-state architectures
- Deliver architecture roadmaps and implementation blueprints aligned to business outcomes
- Architect solutions across major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Leverage modern tools for ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration
- Design CI/CD, testing, and observability frameworks for data and ML pipelines
- Promote data quality, lineage, and reproducibility
- Collaborate with client teams and internal consultants
- Mentor junior architects and engineers
- 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics
- Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform
- Strong experience with lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Cloud or data platform certifications
- Knowledge of data mesh or domain-driven design
