Data Engineer
Akkodis is seeking an Ab Initio ETL Developer for a Contract job with a client in Cincinnati, OH
. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Ab Initio ETL design and development, data integration on Hadoop platforms, and excellent SQL and UNIX scripting skills.
Rate Range: $45.45/hour to $60.61/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Center). - Build Ab Initio graphs (continuous & batch), Conduct>
It plans, and integrate with portfolio of Ab Initio tools. - Implement data acquisition and transformation requirements in data lake or warehouse environments.
- Configure and optimize Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition by Key, Gather, Merge, Lookup, etc.
- Oversee data integration projects on Hadoop platforms (Cloudera, Hive) and interface with heterogeneous data sources (Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3).
- Parse XML, JSON, and YAML documents including hierarchical models.
- Build Control Center jobs and schedules for process orchestration and BRE rulesets for validation use cases.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT experience in Data Integration/Data Warehouse.
- 6+ years of ETL design and development experience using Ab Initio.
- Strong knowledge of Ab Initio MDH and DQ checks.
- 2+ years of experience on Hadoop platforms (preferably Cloudera).
- Excellent SQL and UNIX shell scripting skills.
- Experience with databases:
Db2, Oracle, MySQL, Teradata, Mongo
DB. - Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Pay Details:$45.45 to $60.61 per hour
