Job Overview

Provide end‑user technology support for all endpoint systems, applications, desktop management, and daily operations. Ensure secure and efficient operation of devices and infrastructure through imaging, deployment, and incident resolution.

Essential Functions
  • Provide PC/workstation support for hardware, software interfaces, and stand‑alone systems; install and configure operating systems.
  • Configure and maintain equipment, reinstall corrupted or deleted software, troubleshoot system and network errors, and perform hardware and software modifications.
  • Respond to a broad range of service requests, investigate support incidents, diagnose problems, and promote end‑user satisfaction.
  • Provide support for Windows and macOS computers, including imaging/deployment, hardware troubleshooting, and vendor warranty claims.
  • Create, modify, or remove security group permissions in Active Directory; manage shared network drives and printers.
  • Assist other departments in planning and implementing new applications, hardware, and software, consulting on purchases and configuration.
  • Serve as liaison to project teams and maintain an inventory of university equipment.
  • Build and maintain system documentation and support articles.
  • Build and test OS images and software distribution packages, release software to targeted devices, and track compliance reports.
  • Provide operational support for assigned application systems, including patching and updates.
  • Review application packaging and image creation requests, validate inputs, and manage incident, request, and change tracking.
  • Utilize service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) to ensure strict adherence.
  • Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation to provide 24x7 endpoint management.
  • Perform related duties as needed; this job description may change at any time.
Required Education
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience may substitute for education.
Required Trainings/Certifications

Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

Required Experience

Two (2) years of experience in endpoint management.

Additional Qualifications Considered

A+ Certification.
