Service Now Engineer – Platform Operations

Join KPMG US as a Service Now Engineer – Platform Operations and help deliver audit, tax, and advisory services for our clients. This hybrid role focuses on supporting and enhancing Service Now products to drive efficiency across the organization.

• Lead support and enhancement requests across all Service Now products/modules, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving platform issues with root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Design, configure, and develop solutions using Service Now best practices to meet business needs and improve processes; recommend and implement new features.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations; ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and Service Now best practices.
• Contribute to platform and Plugin/Store app upgrades; mentor junior team members and promote platform knowledge across the operations team.
• Manage platform health, monitor performance, and maintain integration points.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and scrum teams to gather requirements, refine user stories, and translate needs into actionable Service Now solutions.

• Minimum three years of practical experience developing and supporting Service Now in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred.
• Strong experience supporting and enhancing core Service Now modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Sec Ops, IRM, etc.) and a solid grasp of Service Now architecture, data models, integrations, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• At least one Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in a major module (ITSM, HR, CSM, Sec Ops) is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. KPMG will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visas for this opportunity.
