Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring expertise in managing payroll for multi-state operations.

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll on a weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly basis with precision and timeliness.

- Verify and review employee timecards, wage calculations, deductions, and tax with holdings.

- Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data and documentation within payroll systems.

- Handle new employee setup, terminations, pay rate updates, and direct deposit changes.

- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as company policies.

- Address employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

- Generate and distribute payroll reports for management and accounting teams.

- Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee changes and benefits deductions.

- Assist in year-end payroll tasks, including preparation and distribution of W-2 forms.

- Support payroll audits by providing accurate and complete documentation. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

- Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations.

- Ability to manage payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals.

- Proficiency in payroll systems, with experience using Paycor preferred.

- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to resolve payroll issues efficiently and professionally.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with employees and departments.
