Our client, a global leader in the nutrition and manufacturing space, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support plant site operations. This is a long-term contract opportunity running through 2026 with potential for extension.

Duration: Through 2026 (with potential extension)

Pay Rate: $25–30/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Onsite in Sharonville, OH

This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering closely with operations leadership while supporting employees across the full HR lifecycle.

The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive human resources support to plant site management, including recruiting, employment processing, employee relations, compliance (AAP/EEO), performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.

This individual will serve as both a strategic partner to leadership and an advocate for employees, helping support a growing and evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all hourly recruiting efforts for the site, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Conduct recruitment for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary employees
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and support career pathing programs
  • Partner with production, maintenance, quality, environmental, and transportation leaders on employee relations matters
  • Support disciplinary processes, attendance tracking, and performance documentation
  • Conduct workplace investigations and employee exit interviews
  • Assist with implementation and communication of company policies, practices, and proceduresl
  • Maintain HRIS records and generate reports to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (AAP/EEO)
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and track participation metrics
  • Participate in plant initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide workflow guidance and development support to Team Facilitators
  • Assist with Training & Development activities
  • Support special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience (manufacturing or plant environment strongly preferred)
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
  • Experience conducting investigations and managing employee relations issues
  • Strong written communication skills (reports, policies, procedures)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong working relationships
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
