Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Positive Behavior Support Technician located in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing behavior support plans, assisting with skill development, monitoring progress, and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals. Additionally, regular communication with team members, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and other stakeholders to provide support are key parts of the role.
Qualifications- Technical skills in providing support with the IDDD
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals, families, and teams
- Experience working in behavioral support services and understanding of relevant practices
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges or emergencies
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in behavioral health or related fields are an advantage
