Job Description

The Senior Manager of Cancer Clinical Research is responsible for ensuring Tri Health Cancer & Blood Institute, Medical Specialties Institute, and Precision Medicine Institute have an appropriate and well‑managed infrastructure for offering clinical research programs to patients and practicing physicians.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Allied Health or related field (Required)
• Master's Degree (Preferred)
• 7–10 years progressive research experience, including leadership roles (Required)
• Financial reporting, research infrastructure, financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, auditing and internal controls

• Manage and provide accountability for day‑to‑day operations of clinical research
• Serve as the primary Sponsor contact for operational project‑specific issues and study deliverables
• Provide cross‑functional oversight of internal project team members and deliverables, ensuring all necessary project‑specific training is provided
• Review and provide input for study protocol, edit check specifications, data analysis plan, and final study report, when applicable
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Mentor and develop research team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
