Perform MRI scans, working with MDs and radiologists to ensure proper procedure is done; screen patients, ensuring all forms and orders are complete.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / STANDARDS- Perform MRI scans
- Screen patients and educate
- Ensure all forms and orders are complete
- Obtain medical history
- Inject contrast materials
- Print films for MDs and Radiologists
- Log all patients/scans/copies/readings
- Stock supplies and linens
- Maintain room cleanliness
- Interact with MDs and radiologists to ensure correct exams are completed.
- Perform calibration and/or routine maintenance of scanner and processor.
- Protect scanning room from any potential hazards, i.e. projectiles, credit cards, watches, etc.
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, e.g., schedule appointments, answer phones.
- Follow all OSHA requirements
- Travel to any location as needed
- Rotate Saturdays and After Hours scans as needed
- Any additional duties as assigned by the manager
- Must be ARRT certified and have an active Ohio license.
Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push, and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.
