Business Development Liaison – Ohio Living

Essential Activities and Tasks- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources to generate new patient referrals for home health and hospice services.
- Achieve individual sales and volume goals set by the Director of Business Development; coordinate patient referrals and intake, including pre‑admission reviews and obtaining required physician orders.
- Collaborate on the annual marketing plan, conduct competitive analysis, assess marketing needs, and track referral metrics.
- Identify opportunities for formal or contractual relationships with physicians, hospitals, and community organizations.
- Participate in events and activities that promote the organization’s image.
- Attend corporate and local training on sales and marketing principles.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with community leaders, referral sources, and families seeking hospice or home health services.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of funding and government regulations.
- Utilize technology (CRM, etc.) to plan, document, and track marketing activities.
- Identify community adult needs and coordinate education and program services to meet those needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
* or* a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Ohio. - Two years of sales/marketing experience
* or* five years in home health/hospice sales/marketing if no degree/license. - Preferred:
One year of experience in a home health or hospice transition. - Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the internet, and a contact management database.
- English language reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; insurability under professional liability and crime coverage policies as required.
