Lincoln Crawford Care Center, a trusted healthcare and rehabilitation facility in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Admissions Director to help guide residents and families through the admissions process with care and professionalism. This role plays a key part in developing our census, maintaining a strong quality mix, and ensuring a smooth transition for every new resident.
Responsibilities- Lead the admissions process for incoming residents, ensuring exceptional customer service from inquiry through admission.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, physicians, families, and community referral sources.
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents and families, providing clear communication and compassionate guidance.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations prior to admission.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical team on referral assessments.
- Conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents and their families.
- Collect personal and financial information to determine eligibility for admission.
- Assign accommodations based on care needs, resident preferences, and room availability.
- Partner with the Marketing Director to develop community outreach events and promote facility programs and services.
- Previous experience in healthcare admissions, marketing, or case management required (long-term care/nursing home experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional, compassionate, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Reliable work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed for admissions and marketing events.
