Communi Care Health Services - Administrator-in-Training (AIT) Program

Our AIT program is designed for individuals seeking to build a career in long-term care administration. This hands-on training opportunity provides exposure to all aspects of facility operations while preparing candidates for future leadership roles ticipants must be highly flexible and willing to travel to facilities throughout Ohio, as assignments may vary based on organizational needs.

Communi Care’s Administrator-in-Training (AIT) Program is a paid, structured leadership development program designed to prepare future Licensed Nursing Home Administrators for success within Communi Care. AITs receive hands-on training in facility operations, regulatory compliance, business development, finance, and team leadership—guided by experienced mentors and senior executives.

• Work closely with an experienced LNHA at a primary facility while gaining exposure to nearby facilities and their operational challenges.
• Participate in rotations and workshops at our Corporate Headquarters, engaging with our leadership, clinical, and financial teams.
• Learn the full spectrum of facility management; resident care & satisfaction, operations & financial oversight, environment and quality compliance and leadership/strategy.
• Build the confidence and skill set needed to lead high-performing teams in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• MBA, Hospitality, Health Services Administration, Gerontology, or a related degree
• Leadership and customer service oriented
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Openness to travel and potential relocation upon program completion
