Position Summary

Transport Aides are expected to fulfill all obligations to support youth in both family and community settings. The Transport Aide is expected to take the youth to appointments, meetings, social events, and visits. They must be flexible in meeting the needs of the family and youth and in adapting the schedule accordingly. The Transport Aide is to share information about the youth's day and to communicate their behavior and treatment goals.

Essential

Responsibilities
  • Case aides will be asked to transport children and families.
  • Case aides will assist staff and family in the implementation of program activities.
  • To assist staff and family in arranging for activities "in and out" of the home.
  • To assure adherence to quality standards and compliance through the thorough completion of all paperwork in a timely and professional manner, and maintaining flexibility and creativity in working a non-traditional schedule.
  • To promote his/her professional growth and development, the Transport Aide will attend appropriate in-service and staff training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Clearances. State, FBI, and Child Protection, as per state regulations.
