Must undergo a background check via the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI), have a car, a valid driver’s license, and required liability insurance.
Requirements(Education, Experience)
Undergraduate degree in social or behavioral science plus 12 months DHS experience
- Coordinate referrals and authorizations for diverse community provider contracted services, act as front‑line contract liaison, troubleshoot provider agencies and staff, conduct operational meetings with providers, review forms for accuracy, process referrals, reconcile invoices, update Resource and Referral Guide, assist staff in service understanding, review billing, resolve billing problems, track contract expenditures, report monthly spending, manage case service document storage, and enter SACWIS data.
- Specialize in SACWIS data entry, ensure AFCARS information compliance, obtain medical records for youth in custody, coordinate payment or resolution of medical bills, act as liaison with medical providers and MCOs, assist with storage of medical cards, coordinate nursing care tasks, and use multiple software tools.
- Schedule semi‑annual administrative review appointments, generate notification letters, process birth certificate and social security card requests, maintain database, field inquiries for disposition hearings, and perform comparable administrative functions for Children’s Services.
- Maintain basic knowledge of all agency programs and services, represent agency in lobby, accept applications, refer consumers, schedule visitation rooms, assist with mail, order supplies, track expenditures, oversee bus card distribution, manage annual photo process, develop tracking and reporting systems.
