We are searching for an energetic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team full time to support Home Health patients in Columbus and the surrounding metropolitan area. Job DescriptionThe physical therapy assistant assists in the implementation of the rehabilitative care plan under the direction and supervision of a qualified physical therapist.
Qualifications- Graduate of an approved physical therapy assistant curriculum.
- Possesses a current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant in Ohio.
- Under the supervision of the physical therapist, assists in evaluation and development of the rehabilitative care plan and in periodic re-evaluation as indicated.
- As directed by the physical therapist, performs routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises.
- Assists in teaching exercise programs to the client and family.
- Consults with the physical therapist regarding the outcome of home visits and reports physical findings in written form.
- Assists clients in use of self-help devices.
- Attends care conferences and Agency meetings as necessary.
- Documents daily progress notes on clients and submits them weekly.
- Communicates effectively to all those providing client care.
Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Therapy.
Functional Abilities- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in a manner understood by most persons.
- Must be able to stoop, bend and be able to lift and transfer clients.
- Must be able to travel to client’s residences.
- Must be able to read 12 point type or larger.
- Must have a reliable car, car insurance and a valid driver’s license.

Full-time (Part-time and PRN opportunities are also available). Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Salary$40.00 per visit (minimum 35 visits a week) plus incentive opportunities.
Sign-On Bonus$10,000 for Full-time hires only
