Job Responsibilities
  • Administration – Effectively demonstrates skills related to the completion and processing of forms, documents and reports. Compiles information and performs data entry for educational tracking. Assist and support improvements—implement new procedures, processes, services and systems to improve the consistent quality of the related programs. Compile, organize, summarize, prepare and/or analyze data for designated projects and report appropriately.
  • Operation – Audit and evaluate departmental program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative research analysis techniques. Develop program and individual trainee budgets and effectively administer program‑related events, ideas, concepts, themes, resources and materials. Provide administrative oversight and assistance for departmental operations and programs. Research issues related to assigned projects.
  • Coordination – Serve as a liaison with internal and external departments, programs and organizations. Continually explore community and external organization opportunities to advertise professional program visibility and utilize all appropriate current resources. Administer and analyze program and individual evaluations required to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation for all trainees and programs. Develop and maintain efficient internal communication processes to support the activities of the department/program.
  • Media Maintenance – Effectively demonstrates skills related to the use of a variety of software and information systems. Uses software applications to create tables, charts, and forms. Maintains electronic files and folders related to educational activities and accreditation requirements. Organize, maintain and assume responsibility for required databases.
  • Reporting – Assist in the maintenance of budgets and billing related to initiatives and programs. Collect and electronically submit payroll information for the department. Act as liaison with payroll. Compile information and perform data entry for departmental budget information/expense tracking. Assist with completion of HR and other forms. Assist with account reconciliation. Validate accuracy of information submitted and resolve discrepancies. Assist with accurately capturing and reporting revenue and expense related to activities.

Individual/discrete responsibility for at least 1 accredited residency/fellowship program and 8 CCHMC trainees (12 rotators = 1 resident/fellow) or support a centralized, org‑wide education group.

Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
  • Must be a self‑started, problem solver and work autonomously
  • Computer literate
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree and previous Medical Coordinator experience
